Real Success! Read the testimony of one of our graduates.

My name is Jessica Anderson and I am 21 years old. Had it not been for the program of Teen Challenge through Jesus Christ, I might not have seen my 21st birthday.
My mom passed away when I was 8 and my awesome grandfather, who is 94 and my grandmother, who passed away right after my graduation from Teen Challenge raised me. At the age of nine I began to battle with depression I began to cut myself to try to make reality hurt less and me seem more real.
At 11 I began using drugs, and by 16 I was in trouble with the law. I had a horrible relationship with my “high school sweetheart” trying to fill a void. He introduced me to crack at the age of 18. I was very spoiled and immature. I felt because of the loss of my mother I was “owed” everything I had and more. My grandfather gave me everything I could ever want.
I was raised in church and continued to go until the age of 17. The devil is no respecter of persons and by 18 I was a full blown crack addict. I dropped out of school, moved out of my house and became immersed in the life addiction.
Within the year I had spent about $150,000 and had been arrested three times. I had checked myself went to two rehabs and went right back to my old “playmates and playgrounds” as soon as I was released.
In January of 2006, I was arrested for 21 counts of felony forgery. I was in jail for about six months when God made a way for me to enter the Teen Challenge Nashville program on June 6, 2006.
My time in Teen Challenge was not easy, but through Jesus Christ, I am a new creation. I graduated January 2008, and God has put in my heart a deep love and longing to help people. Through the sacrifice of Jesus Christ I have not only been saved from the literal hell I was destined to while lost, but also the hell of addiction, here on earth. I will honor and serve Him until the day I die. I know Jesus has taken away all of the lies the enemy tried to destroy me with and given back to me the true desires of my heart that He planted in me to glorify Him.
